Sale Dates 05/11/11 - Welshpool in-lamb sale. The following sheep will be offered for sale at Welshpool in-lamb sale on the 5th of November:

TOM07161 (see below for photo) - **sold to R.Davies, Ruthin for 500gns**. Description: Date of Birth: Dam: Sire: This ewe has been a very successful show ewe winning many classes including breed champion at Moreton show 2011. Not only a looker, she has real quality and depth to her breeding. Her dam (DMG00035) is the best female line in the flock, she is the great grandmother of the Royal Welsh breed champion 2010 and 2011. Her sire (Newark Henry - NEW03023) was a very consistent show ram winning 20 of his 23 breed classes, 4 championships and 8 reserve championships. He has sired females to 900gns. His sire (MHC98013) was champion at R.A.S.E in 1999 and 2000. This ewe has lambed 3 times for us with no problems. All of her lambs have been registered and in 2011 her ram lamb is being kept. Served by JOX10001 on the 05/08/11 who was purchased from Ms Jamison (Ireland). He was breed champion at Three Counties and Tenbury 2011. TOM09239 - **sold to J.Yeo, Devon for 420gns.** Description: Date of Birth: Dam: Sire: This ewe is probably the best bred female to come out of the Statesman flock. Her dam (TOM07181) was a fantastic show ewe including reserve champion at Three counties 2008 and breed champion at Burwarton 2009 before being sold to the Kietle flock. 239 is half sister to the Royal Welsh breed champion 2010 and 2011.
